Centennial Bridge water taxi
A free water taxi service will be operated by the Department of Transportation. The vessel is a 10-passenger pontoon with bike racks on the front. Service begins June 9 and will continue through the summer. An end date will be confirmed as the season progresses. The service will operate 7 days a week from 7AM to 7PM, depending on the weather, between Station Wharf Marina and Miramichi Boat and Yacht Club (MBYC). The service is being provided to supplement the existing transit system while the Centennial Bridge is closed for rehabilitation. We make it our duty to provide passengers with transportation according to the schedule. In spite of our good intentions, there is little we can do when traffic, road construction or weather conditions force us to change schedule. For operational reasons, we reserve the right to modify the schedule.
